As a physical therapist, I saw many diverse patients who injured fingers. Some broken, some inflamed, and some surgery after rehab. Mostly concerned about their finger functions. It contains 2 types of patterns. Flexion and Extension. Finger bending or extend is not simply easy. It takes lot of time to become back to normal. Bending finger can be done by rehabilitation like passive and active exercise. However, extension is different story.
